MoMA: New Photography 2008
MoMA’s New Photography 2008 exhibition brings together the work of German photographer Josephine Meckseper and South African photographer Mikhael Subotzky.
The above link, from one of my favorite blogs, Shane Lavalette’s Journal, has some commentary and a great video from MoMA about the installation of the exhibit. While neither of these photographers are necessarily ones whose work I would collect, I do like them both – and I think the installation concept for Meckseper’s work is brilliant.
