Kids’ Drawings as Photographs
This is in the same vein of alternative photography styles as Mike Stimpson’s Lego recreations, and it’s just about as creative a concept, though I like it less than Stimpson.
Via a post today on APhotoADay News, this link shows the work of Yeon Doo Jung, a Korean photographer who recreates children’s drawings as color photographs.
Like I said, I don’t enoy this quite as much as Mike Stimpson’s recreations, but it’s an incredibly creative concept and proves that photography is what we make of it. I really have trouble believing that with creative minds like this at work in the medium, there are still some people who refuse to accept photography as art.
