New Collections: Northwest Florida and Pensacola Beach

Northwest Florida Collection

The western Panhandle of Florida is a mix of contradictions. The one I find most endearing is that an area that has seen such high development over the last several years retains so much wilderness, and so many communities with a genuine small-town feel. I am very proud to be a native of northwest Florida, and hope that its beauty is obvious in my photography. The photographs in this collection are all taken from the four western-most counties in Florida (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton). Other collections and projects will sometimes deal more specifically with smaller areas within this area.

Pensacola Beach Collection

Santa Rosa Island is a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico which runs for 40 miles along the Florida Panhandle. Pensacola Beach, located on the island just across the Intracoastal Waterway from Gulf Breeze, is often cited as one of America’s most beautiful beaches. To locals, it tops any list. All photographs in this collection are taken on the Pensacola Beach area of Santa Rosa Island.
