Photograph of Jesus
The Hulton Archive at Getty Images is a collection of over sixty million images, with thousands of boxes of unsorted photographs. Obviously they receive tons of requests… and sometimes they’re a little crazy.
Some examples… Jesus… “an Edwardian lady in the Victorian era”… Hitler at the 1948 Olympic Games… then there’s the one who wanted a photograph of Jack… you know, the Ripper.
Then there are the more mundane requests, but still of things that just don’t exist. Some of the best (and funniest) examples have been collated in this short stop-motion film created by Laurie Hill for the Getty Images Short & Sweet Film Challenge and narrated by Matthew Butson, vice president of the Archive.
